• Peel and chop apples into small pieces or slices. Whichever you prefer.• As soon as you're done slicing, place apples into a lemon water or salt water bath to prevent browning. (4 cups or water to 2 TBSP of lemon juice).• Drain apples and allow to dry.• Place on a cookie sheet and flash freeze for 1-3 hours.• Place in freezer bags to store for several months, up to a year.If you know you want to make apple crisp, I like to freeze the apples with all the filling prepared.
