Learn how to make the perfect iced matcha latte recipe! Making a homemade latte couldn't be easier and way better than Starbucks! Use your favorite non-dairy milk to make this vegan and paleo friendly.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup hot water around 175ºF or 80ºC
  • 2 teaspoons matcha powder to taste (latte grade or ceremonial grade)
  • 2-3 teaspoons pure maple syrup
  • 2 cups your favorite non-dairy milk

Instructions

  • Combine hot water with matcha green tea powder; whisk until powder is dissolved.
  • Add ice to 2 large cups; divide matcha mixture between two cups, pouring over ice. Add maple syrup (or simple syrup of choice).
  • Add 1 cup of milk to each cup; stir and enjoy! 

Notes

MILK - try almond milk, cashew, hemp, soy or coconut for other vegan latte options.
SWEETENER - you could use agave nectar or honey as well. Homemade simple syrup works too.
Divide the recipe in half for 1 serving.
