This flaxseed egg recipe shows you how to make your own vegan egg replacement, perfect for vegan baking and cooking.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon milled flaxseed
  • 3 tablespoons water

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix together the flaxseed with water. Allow the mixture to sit for about 5-10 minutes, or until a gel consistency is reached. 
  • Add to recipe as instructed. i.e. if you are replacing an egg in the recipe, add in place of the egg.

Notes

Scale up the recipe as needed depending on how many flax eggs you need for your recipe.
