What You Need

For these date nut bars you need is a food processor, dates, nuts, and melted dark chocolate.

Remove pits from dates and soak for 5 minutes.

Step One

In a food processor combine pitted dates and nuts. Process until only small pieces remain.

Step Two

Transfer mixture to prepared pan, pressing evenly into all corners and press down flat.

Step Three

Pour melted chocolate over bars and spread evenly. Allow chocolate to cool and  set.

Step Four

Remove bars from pan. Using knife, gently slice into bars.

Step Five

A simple, good-for-you treat you’re most definitely going to want to keep your fridge stocked!

STORAGE

To store these bars you can keep them in an airtight container at room temperature for about one week, or keep in the fridge and enjoy within a couple of weeks.
