PlantFusion LEAN is a great way to supplement your diet and keep you satisfied between meals.
Hey friends! Last week I was at the BlogFest IDEA World Health and Fitness convention, as a part of the Sweat Pink community. Since all things health and fitness are running through my head like crazy at the moment, I thought it would be the perfect time to introduce a new product to you.
So what are we chatting about today? PLANT PROTEIN 😀
Now, before we get started, I will say I enjoy both whey and plant protein powder supplements. However, I am also a pretty picky protein supplement consumer. No matter the protein source I always look for no artificial flavors or colors, all natural ingredients, preferably no soy or gluten. Oh and I also want it to taste really good… yeah I know I am asking for quite a lot.
I’ve got a ridiculous amount of protein powder supplements living in my cupboard. I’m the type of person that likes their options. Which brings me to
PlantFusion LEAN
This isn’t just any protein powder supplement. It’s actually the first and only clinically tested plant-based weight loss shake currently on the market, clinically proven to be 35% more effective than whey protein in curbing hunger.
Now like I said, I do supplement with whey protein to build my shakes on some days. But typically I am adding carb and fat sources (i.e. fruits + nut butters) to the powder to create a good balance of macronutrients, which is your best bet in keeping you feeling satisfied at each meal.
With this PlantFusion Lean, the powder does pretty much all of the work with it’s unique blend of ingredients.
EcoLean > the main ingredient, a uniquely concentrated pea protein containing amino acids and electrolytes
8 grams of soluble prebiotic dietary fiber > helps stabilize blood sugar levels
Superfoods > 20 different plants and sprouted grains containing antioxidants and phytonutrients
Probiotic > the lactospore probiotic helps with inflammation and protein digestion
If you’re snacking between meals, it’s easy to overdo it. Not getting in proper nutrition and a good range of macronutrients at each meal can leave you feeling less than satisfied, causing you to reach for more, potentially leading to unwanted weight gain.
PROS
Mixes well with liquid
Actually tastes good with just water (although a little better with coconut water or non-dairy milk, IMO)
Great flavor
Increases satiety (keeps you feeling full)
Quality ingredients
CONS
May require a more “sophisticated” palate
*slightly* chalky (but honestly only slightly, there are many more inferior plant protein powders out there that I’ve tried and this one is actually one of the best I’ve had)
Whether you’re trying to lose weight or not, PlantFusion Lean can be for anyone looking to boost their nutrition, as well as supplement with a high-quality organic plant protein.
Here’s a quick shake recipe to keep you super satisfied
1/2 frozen banana
1/2 TBS favorite nut or seed butter
1 scoop PlantFusion Vanilla
1 cup liquid (unsweetened non-dairy milk, coconut water, etc.)
Blend ingredients in small blender, enjoy!
Macros* 30g carbs, 7.5g fats, 23g protein
*based on no sugar added cashew butter and water as liquid

PLEASE NOTE: I am not a registered dietitian or nutritionist. Please always consult with your medical provider before changing your diet. Like I mentioned above, I am not using this shake as a means to lose weight, but as a healthy snack to eat between meals. Chocolate brownie! Vanilla bean? All the flavors sound delicious. It can be so hard to find a plant based protein powder that satisfies me between meals but this looks & sounds like one I could fall in love with. And I totally have a ridiculous amount of protein powder in my cupboard too… a girl has got to have her options 😉

I tested this out as a snack before dinner one time, just to see how it worked, and I really didn’t find myself as hungry when it came time for dinner! (not that I was TRYING to be less hungry, but I had to test it out for myself!)

I LOVE Plant Fusion’s vanilla protein powder, I alternate between that and another protein powder every day as a mid-morning shake! This looks like a pretty cool product for some people I know who really need to lose weight for their health…thanks so much for sharing the knowledge!! 🙂
