Friday Link Lovin’ posts are all about sharing some love by linking to other blogs, plus the occasional random findings on Buzzfeed, YouTube, Greatist, etc. that I feel like sharing.
Happy Friday, friends! I’m back for another Friday Link Lovin’ roundup of posts I’d like to share today from fellow bloggers.
But before we get to the links, I would just like to thank all of you for your kind words after yesterday’s post. Thank you to those of you that shared similar stories, words of encouragement, and just your overall support. It means more than you know. I feel like each day is getting a little bit better as far as my anxiety goes. Something that I am hoping will help is getting to see Drew this weekend (!!) finally. The last time I saw Drew was actually the last time I posted Friday Link Lovin’, which if you read that post, I let on that I was stressed. Well, now you know why 😉 Drew leaving that weekend was the same weekend I went to NYC and visited a friend from HS, as well as met Georgie, Christina, and Rachel IRL 🙂 It was the perfect weekend for me to get away and not think about too much.
Now that Drew has been away for a month and we’ve nailed down a move-out date, we decided we would meet up in Pittsburgh for the weekend. It’ll be a bit of a drive, but that’s alright… For how independent we both are I miss him so much. Through this process I think I am learning that it is not only okay to need others to support you in stressful situations like these, but also necessary. And you don’t have to do everything on your own. As much as I was thinking “Oh I’ll be fine. One month isn’t a big deal. We can probably do two…” I just want us to be together again and get back to making his favorite chocolate chip cookies, watching Netflix, and forcing him to go on bike rides with me 😀

I hope everyone has a fantabulous weekend. And I’m looking forward to feeling recharged after taking a weekend away to see Drew. We actually haven’t been to Pittsburgh together before, so here’s to hoping the weather is nice and we can have some fun exploring the city! ?
Let’s chat!
- Do you tend to think you can do too many things on your own? But then fail to realize you may need all the help you can get? ✋
- If you’ve been to Pittsburgh, what’s your favorite coffee shop? I’ve already warned Drew we are skipping the hotel coffee shop and I want the good stuff… 🙂
