Heyooo, it’s Friday (Friday, gotta get down on Friday). But first of all, can I just say how much I love the fact that “Link Lovin'” sounds very much like “McLovin“…
So I wanted to do something a little different today. As I’m sure you’re all well aware, the interweb is a happening place. You get bombarded with tons of info, links, images, Facebook posts, what’s “trending”, etc. #everydamnday. So I wanted to put together some of my favorite happenings that I felt were totally worth sharing.
Let’s get to it…
FITNESS Link Lovin’ ::
4 Myths About Personal Trainers >> Jess, from Hello to Fit, gave us a little insight on some myths about personal trainers. (hint: we eat ice cream, too. AKA I literally just ate some… not even lying.)
RECIPE Link Lovin’ ::
Pumpkin Pie Cookie Butter Overnight Oats >> Georgie, from In It 4 The Long Run, had us all gushing over her creation on Monday. This recipe is seriously making me wish I had a Trader Joe’s in my backyard. But come to think of it, that could cause some major damage to the wallet.
Baked Butternut Squash Mac and Cheese >> Davida, from The Healthy Maven, is killin’ it with this gluten-free/dairy-free mac and cheese. And I’m totally on board with what she is doing here. (Read her post) I’m always a fan of balancing your diet. ESPECIALLY when it comes to adding more whole food sources from plants. Not to say I don’t eat meat, because I totally do. I just also love and appreciate a variety of diets. To each their own.
Healthy Salted Caramel Brownies >> Erin, from The Almond Eater, made this AHmazing caramel sauce (that I totally made and it was totally delicious on some pancakes) and then put said sauce on BROWNIES. Um, yeah. They look fricken amazing and I could really go for a brownie now (always).
RANDOM Link Lovin’ ::
I’ve been on a huge turmeric kick lately. I’ve literally been adding it to everything: coffee, yogurt, matcha, eggs, etc. (Yes, my eggs. Have I told you that I’m well aware I’m weird?) I’ve had this recipe pinned forever. Probably before I even knew or cared what turmeric was. But now I want to make them more than ever.
Thanks to Lindsay’s lovely creation, I bought myself some cranberries and added it in my chocolate breakfast shake yesterday morning. Love the tartness and chocolate combo. Reminds me of this delicious shake (just replace cherries with cranberries=amazingness).
And that is it for Friday Link Lovin’ friends. Short, but sweet 😉
Plans this weekend? Traveling? Fun with family? Fun with friends? Reading? Gym? Relaxing? Cleaning (meh…)
I’ll be back Monday with something so so sooooo good. Like, cantevengetoverit good.
